I am Dr. Deirdre Hunter. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on external fluid flows. I worked in an aerospace laboratory at Virginia Tech, then earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Education with a focus on facilitator roles in learner-centered engineering classrooms.

My motivation to participate in this course is to learn how to use the various tools and equipment available at the OEDK. Additionally, I find it valuable to be a life-long learner.
