My name is Haruto Sasajima and I am a sophomore bioengineer at Will Rice College. I am a part of Rice’s GoBabyGo club, and I play the tenor saxophone in the Rice Jazz Combo.
One thing that I have made that I’m proud of would have to be the chicken feed dispenser my team and I constructed for ENGI 120. The goal of the project was to make a chicken feed dispenser for our client, Chicken Mike, who runs a business selling bags of chicken feed.
One thing I am interested in making in the future would be a prosthetic arm. There are prosthetic arms which have the ability to give the user a sense of touch that are currently being developed, and I think that is especially cool.
I hope that in ENGI 210 I am able to become more comfortable with 3D printing. I think it would be an extremely useful skill to have in the future, as more and more industries are utilizing 3D printing technology.
