Hello all! My name is Vincent Pearce. As a mechanical engineer, I love building things and am looking forward to taking a class that focuses on the act of creation. I’m also in the Rice Philharmonics, Rice’s oldest a capella group. I highly recommend coming to our concerts!

Though I made it in high school, I’m super proud of the life sized replica of BB-8 that took a friend and I over three years. One day, I’d love to make a mechanical watch. The small intricacies and surprising capabilities fascinate me.

Through ENGI 210, I hope to familiarize myself with a wide variety of tools so that I can eliminate the limits as to what I can build.
