Hello, I’m Esau! I am a sophomore at Hanszen majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Design. I am a part of clubs such as SHPE and HACER, and I hope to be even more engaged at Rice this year as it will be the first time I’ll be on-campus.

I am very proud to have been a part of an ENGI 120 group which was tasked with improving bag valve masks by designing a device which would allow emergency responders to more safely operate them. I hope to be able to join the Rice Electric Vehicle team at some point during my time studying here at Rice and help make an efficient electric-powered vehicle.
