a. Who are you and what activities are you engaged in at Rice?
My name is Thomas Kutcher, I am a Sophomore Bioengineering major and Engineering Design Minor interested in medical devices and entrepreneurship. At Rice I’ve participated in research at the BRC, along with being a part of a project in the OEDK. I go for runs and play basketball as well.
b. What is one thing that you have made that you are proud of?
3 3D printed anthropometrically accurate hand models of different sizes with the ability to articulate.
c. What is one thing that you want to make (this semester or in the future)?
An effective medical device to be used in a clinical setting.
d. What is one thing that you hope to learn in ENGI 210?
I would like to gain enough familiarity with the OEDK to be able to be comfortable doing a wide array of projects in the future.
