This process was fairly easy and inexpensive if you have access to a laser cutter. Online resources are easily available for the design and it’s a basic plug and play.

I used MakerCase (https://en.makercase.com/#/) to design the box, downloaded the design and made any necessary edits per assignment instruction.

the first print wasn’t successful because I estimated the kerf. Instead for a successful box it had to be precisly measured. I made the kerf measuring file and print to find that it was 0.017 and once adjusted the printed box fit successfully and snug.
