Hey, I’m Connor Kelly. I’m a sophomore at Lovett college pursuing a major in Computer Science with a minor in Engineering Design. In this class, I hope to learn much more about prototyping and design.
I’m proud of my freshman fall design project, where we built a device to assist patients with limited mobility in therapeutic gaming.
At some point in the future, I would like to design and build my own drone. I’m already a Part 107 drone pilot, and have built a small fpv drone, but I’d like to build a larger drone and develop my own flight controller from scratch.
In ENGI 210, I’m most interested to learn more about using the CNC mill. At my high school job, I worked on a project that required I work in a machine shop for about 2 weeks and help with programming the machines, so I am familiar with the operation, but still have a lot to learn.
