This is my apron! Sewing was a fun experience. The most time-consuming and difficult part was cutting out the fabric into shape. The dimensions of the apron are 32″x 22″ and 9″ across the chest. The actual sewing was the fun part. I struggled a little bit with the box stitches for the straps. I improved my box stitch when I adjusted the length of my neck strap (I made it too long at first).

Estimated cost of this apron is $55.20 total. This is assuming the fabric is $5/yard and straps are $1/yard. I used 79 inches of strap material (2.2 yards) and 1 yard of fabric. Labor costs are $45 total, with a rate $15/hour. Thread is $3/spool, and I used 1 spool.
