Hi!

I’m Emmanuella, and I am currently an undergrad junior from Wiess College! I am currently majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computer Science, and also minoring in global health technologies. I have always had a love for engineering and when I saw this class I knew it’d be perfect for me.

I was born in Florida, but I have spent most of my lifetime living in Massachusetts. I love to get active when I can, so most of the time you’ll find me either at the gym, playing volleyball, or outside on a run somewhere in Houston.

I can’t wait to get into this course because I love to do hands-on projects. I have already taken a few electrical engineering courses at Rice so I have luckily been able to work on some physical projects even though I’ve mainly been specializing in digital work.

I am also a part of the Rice Medical Design Club (member of a team/exec of the board) so I work a lot with product design, specifically in the medical world.
