Hey everyone!
This is my blog post for my apron homework. I used to sew as a kid but mainly with my hands and a needle and rarely a sewing machine. With that being said, this homework was challenging but also fun to do!
Overall process:
I took out a piece of plain black fabric and used chalk to do my outline. I really wanted the sides of the apron to be curved and not straight (I think this was the biggest challenge when it came time to use the sewing machine on the corners). I then cut along this measured outline. After this, I folded the sides and then began sewing the borders of the apron together. The bottom left and right borders were relatively easy to sew but the curved borders were definitely the hardest part to put together. Overall, I think I did a decent job though.
