I worked on the box group project with Chris. We had to make a box! My role was about the hands-on tasks: drilling, sanding, and spraying. It was a pretty intense but rewarding experience, and while it was a collaborative effort, I spent a total of 4 hours focused on my part.
Drilling required precision, and I took my time making sure everything lined up perfectly. Once the structure was solid, we moved on to sanding again as we did it before drilling as well, which took some elbow grease to get the surfaces smooth and ready for the next step. Finally, spraying the box gave it that perfect finish, transforming it from a rough piece to THE RED BOX.
In the end, the project came together beautifully. If I were to charge for my time at $15 per hour, that would add up to $60 in labor. It was a great reminder that teamwork and attention to detail really pay off when you’re building something from scratch!
