I molded and casted my finger for this project. It started by taking 50ml of alginate, 50 ml of water, mixing them together for 5 minutes, allowing it to sit and harden as I left my finger inside the mold.

After that, I then proceeded to create a mixture of plaster and water with 100 ml of plaster and 50 ml of water, after mixing for 5 minutes and allowing it to solidify a bit I poured it into my mold.

I then put screws inside to allow an easy release from the mold.

After that, for cosmetic purposes, I spray-painted my fingers Red.

Cleaned area.

 

This is not the full length of my finger because it was much simpler to use the smaller containers for molding than filling up the larger container and using more materials.
