Hi everyone! My name is Kate and I’m at freshman at Baker. I’m studying electrical engineering and I’m interested in the engineering design minor. I’m a part of Rice’s rocketry club, Eclipse, and SWE. I love playing IM sports (shoutout Baker Billiards).

One thing I am proud of creating is this mountain scene that I made with a plasma cutter.

I would love to build a rocket through Eclipse’s certification program. Within EDES 210, I can’t wait to learn how to use the 3D printers.
