How I broke the WaterJet cutter machine

Well, I didn’t necessarily break it…

There I was, so ready to cut an outline of my car. I took this design and modified it from an STL file to be a 2d file on Adobe Illustrator.

I loaded the file upon the waterjet cutter laptop. I followed the instructions to the dot.

I even ran a dry run to make sure the piece of metal I had was large enough.

Alas, as soon as I hit play, water started spurting from the hoses connecting to the abrasive sand. I asked for help from the lone lab assistant that was there, but even after some intensive troubleshooting, this trouble was too shot for us to solve.

To be continued.
