Hey Y’all! I’m Amanda :)

Hey everyone, I’m Amanda and I am excited to meet all of you. I am a Master’s student in Bioengineering on the Global Medical Innovation track. I am originally from Waco, Texas but I graduated from the University of Arkansas up in Fayetteville, AR. I received my bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering but I feel like I didn’t have the opportunity to explore prototyping until late in my Junior year. With minimal technical experience, I became a clinical engineering intern out in San Jose, CA at a late-stage start-up called Telos Health. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about CAD and 3D printing as well as how technical skills and clinical knowledge work together. I look forward to learning how to harness my existing knowledge to make valuable prototypes but I would also love to learn as many new skills as possible!

This is me performing a thrombectomy on an anatomical model that I designed and printed!
