Hello everyone, my name is Nisarg Patel and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Bioengineering with a focus on Global Medical Innovation.

One of the things that I am proud of was being part of a team that designed and prototyped a low-cost diagnostic device that was used to detect if cancer was present in tissue samples. In the future I want to be working within the medical device industry as a product development engineer, specifically working on products that will help improve the quality of life for patients. One thing that I am excited about learning in BIOE 555 is how to operate a water jet. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
