Hello Everyone! After completing my master’s in Biomedical Engineering I spent some time in industry, but found my way back to academia and spent the last year working as a lab technician here at Rice. This semester I am really excited to transition from a tech to a first year PhD student in Bioengineering Department, and look forward to getting to know what student life at Rice looks like. During high school I helped my team build a tennis ball launcher for a physics competition, it was a lot of fun and I am proud of how well we did. I join this class to learn new fabrication methods such as 3D printing, and I would love to make fun conical tube holders for my wet lab work.
