This is my initial low fidelity prototype of a one-handed iPad holder. There is a styrofoam ball attached to the back of an already-existing iPad case that snaps onto the iPad. The user can just hold the iPad by using the ball.

Lesson learned today: Try to incorporate a pre-existing solution whenever possible.
