My idea for this project was to create a functioning model of a row boat. The boat changed quite a bit from the original design to the final product.

Originally I had the entire boat created from a stack of vertical cross sections, but I soon developed in the prototyping process that this design was unreasonable. My new design used vertical cross-sections and used vinyl cut sections in order to complete the hull of the boat.

Finally, I added benches to the top of the boat and tested it in the water.

And it floats!
