The above picture is the design problem I had to sketch and draw out.
My first sketch was replaceable guitar strings that are made of a biodegradable plastic, and can emit a low temperature fire for visuals and for a sense of danger any mother would disprove of.
My next sketch was a robotic remote controlled cat with embedded speakers for rockstars who need to play anywhere. This cat is made of biodegradable plastic and fully recyclable electronics. Mothers who hate pets and/or cats will surely hate this device, and if that is not enough, the loud noises it can emit will produce plenty of hate.
My third and final sketch is for large swinging axes to bring excitement to any rockstar show and stage. Mothers will certainty hate this device due to its perceived danger. However, in reality it is made of low density biodegradable rubber foam.
To fully give the scale of these stage props, detailed drawings of the stage axe were created.
The first drawing shows the axe as it would look from the audience, with all dimensions and materials labeled.
The second drawing shows the axe from the bottom, to indicate all thickness edges and to show the slope of the foam axe blade itself.
