Hello ENGI 210 friends!!
I’m Annabel, a sophomore MechE from McMurtry.
Activities? Well, a favorite would have to be Rice Taiwanese Association, featuring countless boba runs and study breaks, monthly restaurant trips, and annual Night Market events. JOIN NOWWW –> RTA <3
I also love going to the Nehemiah Center, a twenty+ min walk from Rice, helping the impossibly friendly and adorable kids there to complete their schoolwork and to really get invested in education~~
I’ve taken the ENGI 120 course, and I’m extremely proud of our project, a 16mm film coating machine. A 16mm whaat?? SEE HERE –> Reel Film <3
Other than seeing this project to complete success, I’d love to work on something like… oh I don’t know… a machine that can fly without electricity. That would be cool. One day.
For now, I shall be focusing on ENGI 120. I’m hoping to learn more about working with wood and metal, whether choosing the material, cutting it using machinery, and perhaps even designing non-blocky-looking prototypes.
Looking forward to another amazing year. See y’all in class 🙂
