Hello! My name is Grace Wilson, and I am a Sophomore MechE from Lovett College. I am a proud member of Lovett College’s Powderpuff team. I also participate in most other intramural sports, as well. One thing I made that I am proud of is my ENGI 120 project, which was an enrichment device for the Okapi in the Houston Zoo.
One thing that I look forward to making is the machine in ENGI 210. I am very interested in assembling different laser-cut components together to form a larger, more complex prototype.
Although I have experience with many of the resources in the OEDK, this semester, I hope to learn how to use the machines more efficiently and effectively. Wasting materials and re-running prints and cuts can be very frustrating, so gaining more experience and learning the nuances/personalities of the machines is something I would love to do!
