My name is Bradley Bolton. I am a freshman mechanical engineering major at Martel, with minors in engineering design and business. I participate in club lacrosse, a few intramural sports, and the freshman engineering team “Heartthrobbers,” working on a medical device with the Texas Heart Institute. I am most proud of a project where I got together with my younger cousins to build a trebuchet and hopefully grow their interest in stem fields. I one day hope to build a small wooden sailboat to use on Texas lakes. In ENGI 210, I hope to learn accurate and consistent casting technique. I do some aluminum casting at home, but wish to improve the quality of the castings.
