Savannah’s attempts to make stuff 1.0

My name is Savannah Esteve. I am in the Master of Bioengineering – Global Medical Innovation program. In the spring, I am working with my team to participate in the Lilie LaunchPad and Rice Business Plan Competition.  Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling, trying new coffees, and walking my dog, Beaux.

A few years ago, I made a 3D printed model of my hip which was a major driving factor that led me to study Biomedical Engineering at Louisiana Tech and Rice.

In this class, I hope to learn more about 3D printing and creating things. Sometimes I struggle to just get pick a pathway to begin a project and I am hoping to get better at narrowing ideas down and getting started!

Excited for this semester!
