Hi everyone, my name is Dante! I grew up in New Zealand and California, and am currently a junior at McMurtry studying mechanical engineering. One thing I have made that I am proud of is an automatic vent system for the greenhouse at the Rice Garden (I think it’s still in use!) One thing I want to make in the future is my own electric guitar, including designing it and selecting the right wood and pickups and everything.

In ENGI 210, I hope to learn about new ways of manufacturing projects, like molding or using the laser cutter. Being able to use these tools as well as standard fabrication tools would really increase the creative possibilities of my projects.
