Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey Russ and I am a sophomore at Lovett college studying Electrical Engineering with a focus in Computer Engineering, and pursuing the Engineering Design minor. I am also on Rice Owls Dance Team, trying to be more of an active participant in PowderPuff this year, and am thinking about joining REV. One thing I have made that I am proud of is all of the furniture in my new apartment. It took a while, but the place now feels furnished and livable, with enough seating to accommodate any guests I want to have over. Something I want to make in the future is more of my own clothes! I’ve modified a lot of clothing, including my junior prom dress, but I want to get more proficient in sewing and maybe even crocheting. I hope to learn to use all of the tools in the OEDK, but I especially want to improve my woodworking skills, as I think that is so practical and has so much potential for applications in my life.
