Hello, my name is Nicholas Ho, a Master’s Applied Bioengineering student at Rice.

I am proudest of what I made for my senior design project. As a part of a design team, we designed and created a functional augmented-reality guided ultrasound imaging system, that allowed users to visualize tumors and lesions within the body in real time. It was one of the first times I went through the entire design process and successfully finished with a working product.

I have always been interested in working with metal but never had the opportunity to do so. As such, I am incredibly excited to learn a lot about the different methods and tools used to make things from scratch. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone this semester and having fun while doing it!
