My name is Leo and I am studying computer science as well as electrical and computer engineering with an engineering design minor. I am passionate about software engineering, embedded systems, and the intersection between hardware and software design. At Rice, I am involved in REV and leadership of the FIRST robotics alumni group. When I am not busy at school or working on projects I am passionate about the outdoors as I am a skier, sailor, backpacker, and mountain biker.

One thing I made I am proud of is a remote control sailboat that had a compass and a completely custom control system. Another thing I am proud of is my work with electronics and mechanism design on my high school’s robotics team which I spent ~1200 hours doing. One thing I want to make is a large scale steel sculpture. In ENGI 210 I hope to learn sewing and better refine my ability to know the right tool for a given job.
