For the project, we need to cast our fingers. I have experience with casting with plaster and epoxy resin and cast a lot of things before, like my hand, a Cthulhu statue, and even a katana.
Therefore, I am pretty confident about this project
After mixing everything in ratio, we inserted our fingers into the wet alginate and wait until we felt the resistance. We then took our fingers out and start to mix the plaster. Lulu and I decided to add a bit of night-glowing powder to the plaster to add some extra effect. Sadly on the next day when we took the finger out, the effect wasn’t obvious.
But still, the finger is in shape and is pretty successful. For post-processing, I decided to keep the finger texture so I only sanded it with high-grit sandpaper.
Finally, after writing my name, I left it on the table.
