Hello! I am Hannah Delatte, I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on bioinstrumentation. I am currently a student in the GMI program and am excited to start! I am not currently engaged in any activities but I do plan on getting involved as the year goes on. I am a design mentor for this years BIOE senior design course, so I will hopefully improve on lots of design skills throughout the year.
One thing I made that I am proud of is a micro-biosensor used for real-time detection of neurochemical concentrations during my undergraduate research, and I hope to improve on it as I continue my research and create a remote monitoring device used to detect early stages of various disease states. I am recently big into being a plant mom(see featured image), so maybe I will build something fun for them. Or something to keep my puppy entertained while I am in classes all day.
Overall from this course I just hope to expand upon what I currently know but also learn even more about hands-on application of design skills to bring ideas to life.
