Peace out

Hi,
For this week’s assignment, I casted and molded a peace sign using my fingers. To begin with, I mixed alginate   with

water in 2:1 ratio, I kept adding water gradually until the viscosity was decent. I left my fingers in the algin

ate for about 10-12 minutes, until I thought the mold was firm enough to easily take my fingers out. I hanged 2 screws and started making the plaster. I added water to

plaster in a 2:1 plaster to water ratio. I quickly added the solution to the mold and left it for about 12 hours. I removed the alginate and I had my fingers ready. I used a knife and a sand paper of 120 grid to fine the edges and finished it off by spray painting it and clear coating it.
