HELLO ENGI 210!

Hi everyone! I am Hsing-Yi Chen, a freshman majoring in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. At Rice, I am a mechanic at the Rice Bikes and a member of the Rice Taiwanese Association. I am proud of a project I made in high school, a device that allows people to play and control a video game (Piano Tiles) by doing flutter kicks (a core exercise). Also, in the FWIS 188/ENGI 120 course I took last semester, our group designed an interactive bear feeder (that can launch bear pellets like a tank) for the Houston Zoo. In the future, I want to make some products related to sports or health rehabilitation because that is where my passion is. I hope that from this class, I can learn the skills to operate the machines so I can carry out my creativity in more ways.
