Hello everyone!
This is Ludovica (Lulù), a current first year PhD student in the Bioengineering department. I come from a small town next to Rome, Italy!
I recently graduated from my Master in Medical Biotechnology from San Raffaele University, Milan. I’m very proud of my final research project conducted in MD Anderson about in vitro immuno-imaging of Natural Killer cells in bone metastatic genitourinary malignancies.
Microscopy is definitely something I’m passionate about and this is one of my last acquisitions!
What makes me very happy is cooking food, hoping that my friends enjoy it.
Something I’m really excited about this course is the 3D printing system, I would really love to learn how to make different types of scaffolds and use them in my cancer research!
Looking forward to meet you all and to start this super exciting “hand-on” class.
Ciao (bye) from Lien!
