My name is Antonija and I am from North Macedonia. I acquired my bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology at the University “Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, which led me to work in a research institute with a focus on breast cancer research, serve as a first responder for COVID-19 pandemic and be a science teacher. Thanks to the Fulbright Scholarship, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Bioengineering at Rice University, and the experience has been incredibly rewarding. Outside of academics, I love coffee, dogs, hiking, watching sunsets, and reading books.
One thing that I am proud of is my baking creations, especially my banana bread and cookies, which are two of my favorites.
I enrolled in this course to gain more hands-on experience and learn how to 3D print and laser cut. This class will give me a solid foundation in creating medical devices for cancer research.
Благодарам!
