Hello! My name is Emma Liu, and I am a sophomore from Baker! I am majoring in architecture and am originally from Kansas. I love to do all things creative, especially painting and architectural model-making! I am involved with the Rice Architecture Society, where I help plan and design graphics for Archi Market. One thing I am really proud of making is the final model for my studio project last semester. I had to manually weed out the grout lines for the tile after I etched the pattern into the museum board using the laser cutter.

I am excited to learn how to use the CNC machine because it will be very helpful for me to bring another level of sophistication into my model-making and fabrication! I’m excited to meet all of you!
