Hi y’all, my name is Cali! I’m a senior from Duncan College studying Visual Arts and Psychology, minoring in Engineering Design. I’m hoping to pursue an Architecture degree after graduation. At Rice, I’m involved in The Rice Thresher, Rice Women’s Club Lacrosse, Rice Women’s Club Soccer, and Kesem.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on at the OEDK include Tellus, a vertical hydroponics system; a securement anchor for a pediatric endotracheal tube for Texas Children’s; and a master plan for Bell Park, a local park in Houston’s Montrose. I’ve also been working on several wood and organic matter projects  in my studio, pictured below. I’m looking forward to working on my fabrication techniques and craftsmanship, specifically within wood-working and sewing.
