The design I ended up choosing was an articulated dachshund from thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2860961).
At first, I tried printing on the formlabs resin 3d printer. I quickly learned that this was not the best way to print articulated objects as they printed without the correct breaks.
Next, I tried the Bambu and Prusa MK4 printers. I ended up adding infill to edit the original design (which was hollow). This time, all of my prints came out correctly. Unfortunately, when I went to remove the brim supports that I had added around the dachshunds on the Prusa, I ended up breaking the prints.
I repeated the Prusa prints, this time without the brims, and they ended up turning out great, completing the dachshund pack.
Overall, I enjoyed trying out the 3d printers for the first time and comparing the results. In the future, I would love to try more complicated designs and iterations that aren’t limited by size.
