I really enjoyed molding and casting my fingers for this EDES 210 assignment.
I began by creating the alginate mold, following the recipe of 6.75 oz of water and 1.5 oz of alginate. Then I stuck in one of my fingers and waited for the mold to solidify around my finger.

Next, I created the rockite mixture, using a ratio of 10g of water and 35g of rockite. I poured this into the mold, and placed the screws into the end of the finger for future use as a wall hook.

The next day, I removed the finger from the mold. I repeated the process to create the second finger.
Lastly, I post-processed by spray painting my fingers red.
