First I gathered my materials! I got the cups, alginate, rockite, water, screw, popsicle stick, and the jigs. I first prepared the negatives. I measured 33 g alginate and 125g water separately as mentioned by Madison in her comment in the instruction document.
I then combined them and mixed them removing clumps for about 4 minutes. Afterwards I inserted my left pointer finger into the cup and left it there for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes I gently removed my finger. I then prepared the jig by using a screwdriver to put the screw in at the corresponding height.
I then measured 10g of water and 35g of rockite separately. I then combined them and mixed them removing clumps for about a minute. I then poured it into the molds previously made. I left it to dry for 2 hours.
I came back to the oedk and removed them from the molds. It looked great but there was a lot of excess towards the top to sand down. I may have over poured slightly. I used 280 grit sandpaper and made sure it looked coherent.
Afterwards I got some blue spray paint and did a coat! I then waited for a little under an hour and did a second coat of clear! Here is the finished product.
Here are my clean spaces!
