Who are you and what activities are you engaged in at Rice?

Hey y’all. My name is Daniel Rosenstrauch. I am a sophomore at Baker studying Mechanical Engineering. At Rice I am the founder of the Solidworks User Group (currently in processing), I am an engineering design mentor for ENGI120, and I am the co-chair of the Associates Committee.

What is one thing that you have made that you are proud of?

I modeled and printed a realistic eagle in ZBrush Core mini which was mostly made difficult by my lack of artistic talent but was fun nonetheless.

What is one thing that you want to make (this semester or in the future)?

I think a clock would be a lot of fun.

What is one thing that you hope to learn in ENGI 210?

I hope to mostly learn about what tools are out there for making and creating. Looking forward to it!
