Hello! My name is Graciela Lara, but I go by Lizzy! I am a Junior at McMurtry College studying Electrical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Design. I love doing arts and crafts, I have participated in Rice Robotics, and build a small Rocket for Eclipse for my L1 Tripoli certification.

I want to learn how to use more of the machines in the OEDK in order to be part of more projects in Rice. I am particularly excited for using the CNC machine because I have never seen it in use. I also want to build gifts for my sister, since she is always asking me to give her stuff from Rice. I am very excited for taking this class and can’t wait to start creating!
