I printed my first 3d printing object in this project! I really like the concepts of infinity and mobius ring. Therefore, I found an design of a double mobius ring. I used 2 method: SLA and FDM to print the object.
Here is my impossible project, it is by Creative_hacker in Thingiverse. I believe my project is an impossible object since it is complex with interlocking features.

I downloaded the file and import to Bamboo slicer. In the slicer, I resized the project to be 30mm in its longst size. However, it turns out to be too small for the capsule. Therefore, I resized to 42mm x 41mm x 39mm.
I chose this size because the shortest diameter of the capsule I measured is 50mm. I used the extra 5 mm clearance for dimention variations of the capsule. After that, I use bamboo X1 in ODEK to print it out.
Here is the FDM printed ring.

Here is the final ring sanded with support removed
.

I also used SLA to print out the project. I import the file into Preslice to send it to SLA machine Form 3+.
I washed out the excess resin 20 min and cured it in the mahine with 60 celcius for 30min provided by ODEK. Here is the cured ring!

And here are the final sanded rings with support removed.

Cost estimation:
Labor cost: $20 = $10 for each hour working as TA in Rice.
Material cost:$3.95 = 0.79 x 5 from Slicer software estimation
