My name is Sarah Meigs, and I’m a Junior at Duncan studying MECH and art. At Rice, I lead outdoor trips with ROPE and am also a part of SWE. One project I’m proud of is the model of an infant with cleft lip and palate I created with my ENGI 220 team. In the future, I definitely want to make a lamp. In EDES 210, I’m looking forward to learning how to turn my ideas into polished products using a series of tools in the OEDK. I’m especially excited about the laser cutter.
