For our first assignment of the semester we were supposed to come up with a bunch of crazy ideas and draw them out.  The rules were pretty simple, we just had to include 3 components in each drawing.  The first 5 ideas were things to make eating more fun for rockstars… using magnetism.    Here are the first three things that came to my mind:

The first one is supposed to be a magnet on the end of the rockstar’s guitar.  Each pole of the magnet can hold a fork or knife, which the rockstar can then use to cut and eat his dinner as he continues rocking.  The second drawing depicts a rockstar sitting in his rockstar chair waiting to be fed.  His meal is held above him by an electromagnet, which is powered by the amp it is connected to.  Needless to say this could make eating much more fun for that rockstar.

I chose to try and refine the first idea and add some detail to it, and here’s how that turned out.

I figured there should be some indentations on the ends of the magnet so that the fork and knife could be more secure.  I also had to think a little about how the magnet would be secured to the guitar.  At this stage it’s held together by a bunch of string wrapped around both of them.

These are just some of the drawings I did, but I guarantee the rest of them were just as silly and questionable as these.
