Here’s me at last years Engineering Design Showcase!
Hi everyone! My name is Gabriel Witkop, I’m a senior in the Electrical Engineering department with minors in Philosophy and Engineering Design, and I’m excited for ENGI210. In my free time, I’m a photographer and enjoy running and rowing.

Rowing in Everett, WA this summer!
At Rice, I’m the head of Will Rice’s Quad committee, involved in the bike team, and looking to join an engineering club for my final year. You’ll find me at Will Rice KITQ every week, and I’ll probably be at the OEDK a lot!
In the past, I’ve made a lot of super simple fixes for minor problems me and my friends have run into. Things like a shelf that slots onto the bedpost of the on-campus dorm beds and a wireless charging phone stand.
In the future, I want to make a desktop pencil organizer out of this piece of Portuguese ceramic window sill I found at a flea market, I want to have an engaging and challenging senior research project, and I can’t wait to learn a lot in ENGI210! Specifically, I’m really excited to learn CNC milling and sewing.
