Hi everyone! I’m Daniel, a freshman Mechanical Engineering major from Los Angeles, California. At Rice I work on a test engine for Eclipse, the student-run rocket team, and run for the university’s cross country at track teams. Last semester, I worked on an Engi 120 project to create a device that can be used to pick up and move mulch, making the process easier for homeowners. I’m not entirely sure what I want to make this semester, though I do think a small sculpture would be cool. One that I’m really looking forward to in Engi 210 is working with the 3D printers and making objects with them
