Hi my name is Donaldo Almazan, I am a chemical engineering major at Rice University class of 2019. Outside of classes I love exploring the intersections of art & science through sculpture and experiments with a variety of materials.

One of my proudest accomplishments at Rice has been co-founding Rice Art + Engineering Club in 2017, a group of students from all majors interested in hands-on projects related to art and engineering. Since our creation, we’ve successfully launched a handful of art exhibitions and outreach projects that explore the boundaries between art & science.

I hope through taking ENGI 210 – Prototyping and Fabrication I can continue to learn more about making cool things and designing things in my career!
